Majorca Island Top Attractions
  1. Port De Pollenca

On the opposite side of the bay is a relaxed little coastal town. Relax on the beach, explore the marina or shop the streets. Stress relief capital of the island.

  2. Alcudia Old Town

On west coast of the island you can find a pleasant little town with a lazy atmosphere and happy locals. During the day you can find many market stalls and in the evening several nightclub and restaurants come to life.

  3. Golf Fantasia

A session of crazy golf whilst on holiday is always a good past time and this course is simply a great one. Playing a round under the strong sun is a good bit of family bonding.

  4. Le Seu Cathedral

An imposing figure on the silhouette of the capital Palma which you simply can't miss. As amazing as the outside is, the inside is equal with its medieval mosaics, coloured glass windows and many Catholic artefacts.

Beaches & Natural Parks
  1. Mondrago Natural Park (58Km, About an hour)

More than just sand, sea and sun. Ok there are a couple of neat beaches, but what else is on display is the big attraction. Incredibly clear ocean in the bay and a rocky forest going into the hills gives hours' worth of exploration.

  2. Es Trenc (50 Km, 50 Minutes)

Slightly more isolated then several other beaches but equally as fun. With more of a natural atmosphere in the surroundings, it's easy to find your own hidden spot away from the hustle of the bigger resorts.

  3. Playa De Palma (10Km, 10 minutes)

The main holiday resort of the island with so much sand you'll never need to fight for space. Either sit and grab a tan or partake in some of the many water activates on offer; this is surely a great beach to spend several days.

Top Driving Tips
  1. The roads are in good condition and the driving quality is good. If you have driven in Spain before than you'll find it easy. You'll be driving on the right and need to give way to traffic coming from the left. Your best bet on getting to your desired location is simply to plan your route and either have a map or Sat-Nav at all times.

At the Airport
  1. Palma de Mallorca (aka Son Sant Joan) airport is the third biggest airport in Spain which shows the popularity of the island. 20 million passengers arrive to the airport each year with the majority of them having a nice quick experience. The airport itself has a good range of cloth and entertainment shops, local gourmet foods and the standard needs for tourist and locals.

Airport Location
  1. The location of the airport is ideal. Once out the front door you are only 10 minutes drive from Palma city and equal distance to the resorts at Playa de Palma. The island isn't the biggest and really won't take much more than one hour to get anywhere from the airport.

Car Hire at the Airport
  1. The airport and in fact the island as a whole has a great amount of car hire options. From the airport you find multiple companies with desk in terminal and several other locations in the surrounding areas and in the capital Mallorca de Palma.
