  1. Stansted boasts an array of bars, restaurants and coffee shops suiting a variety of tastes and budgets. Furthermore there is a selection of shops to suit most tastes including consumer electronics, fashion and beauty, news shops and bookstores. With a single terminal building, it is an easy airport to navigate and gives the appearance of a single large open place space. A shuttle train connects the main departures hall to a number of the departure gates where many of the flights take off. A new section of the airport has recently been constructed and operates as a departure gate exclusively for Ryanair and can be accessed by foot from the main departure lounge.

The airport is far more rural then the other London airports but doesn't add any difficulties when reaching central London or South East England.
