At the Airport
  1. The Bristol Airport has some excellent choices in dining, both before and after security screening. Passengers can choose from inexpensive and readily available pre-made sandwiches and fast food items or they can sit down and have a nice meal at what can only be considered a fine dining establishment, complete with a caviar menu. There is also shopping available within the departure area of the airport, with everything from baby food to watches and high end jewellery and fashions available as well as souvenir items.

Airport Location
  1. It may only be 8 miles out from the city centre but is still completely out of Bristol itself. The A38 leads directly from the airport to the city and should roughly half an hour door to door. Alternatively, the outskirts of London is close to 2 hours away and England's South Coast as close as 90 minutes away which makes the airport highly convenient.

Car Hire at the Airport
  1. For those getting a hire car, Bristol Airport has plenty of options, with quality cars from a number of different car companies. For the companies that do Car Rental, Bristol Airport does great business thanks to its location outside of the city proper as well as all of the smaller towns that cater to tourists that are in the area.
