Car Hire on the Island
  1. Due to the island being miniature in stature and easy to drive around with many of the popular resorts being located further around the coast line, car hire is a popular choice to leave the airport. The airport is well served by a good selection of globally known car hire options with all but one located on the actual airport. Goldcar, Alamo, Budget, Avia Car and Europcar are all located at Las Palmas airport on the ground level of the one and only terminal (apart from Budget whose office is in the car park directly opposite the terminal).  Orlando car hire is another option and found in Las Palmas city centre, they offer a free shuttle bus service but are also a good option for those who are staying nearby and wanting to collect their rental a few days into their holiday.
